Some websites use advertising networks to show you specially targeted adverts when you visit. These networks may also be able to track your browsing across different sites.
We don’t currently set advertising cookies.
These are stored while you’re browsing. They get deleted from your device when you close your browser e.g Chrome, Firefox.
These are saved on your computer. So they don’t get deleted when you close your browser.
We use persistent cookies when we need to know who you are for more than one browsing session. For example, we use them to remember your preferences for the next time you visit if you logged in.

When you purchase a historical map print from our website you can complete payment via ‘Credit Card’ or ‘Paypal’. Our ‘Credit Card’ payment gateway is provided by Stipe. BlaeuPrints.com doesn’t save or have access to your credit card data as payment is securely handled by Stripe. When payment is taken we produce your print. This is done pretty much immediately, we list a processing time of 1-2 working days and postage is made no later than this. Prints need to dry and occasionally we make requested alterations, all within the stated time.
Delivery follows, which by default is our ‘Standard’ shipping- ie. we visit our local post office and complete a customs declaration, pay for postage and send your print on its way. More about Shipping Methods can be found here: https://shop.blaeuprints.com/shipping-information
If you select a method of shipping with tracking and your country supports tracking international mail from Spain then information will be given through your account and via an email. As we offer shipping worldwide we cannot guarantee that tracking information will be available every step of the way with ‘Standard’ shipping. ‘Standard’ and ‘Express’ postage is offered by Correos. Our ‘Priority Courier’ Shipping is offered via either TNT, DHL, UPS, FedEx, GLS or ParcelForce. Depending on what country you are located in we will match the fasted service to your order. Should you have a preference do let us know. ‘Priority Courier’ is the only fully insured shipping method we employ.
Shipping Estimates are given as such. Guaranteed Shipping can be arranged, but do contact us so we can discuss additional charges.
We state fully, and clearly the contents of our packages. ie. “Poster for Decorative Use by Recipient”. Despite this it does seem that Customs do occasionally investigate items when they so wish. We can’t offer any further information regarding Customs.
In the event your package gets lost in transit, we will make every effort we can to assist you. However, we cannot be held responsible for packages once they have been confirmed as delivered. We strongly recommend selecting a delivery address that is safe and secure.
Any cancellations of standard orders must be done within 24 hours from time of order to avoid any additional fees or charges. If more than 24 hours have passed and you wish to cancel your order please refer to our return policies for returning the merchandise back to us once you receive it. Please note there are no returns, refunds or exchanges on special / custom orders.
